Equipment

Grill: There are two types that you can choose from, and these are charcoal or gas. While gas is more convenient in terms of igniting the fire, charcoal adds flavor to your barbecue. Make sure that your grilling surface is wide enough and has good ventilation.

Chimney Starter: This is more effective in starting a fire when we compare it with match light coals.

Long-handled tongs: Tongs with long handles are suitable for grilling and prevent your hands from getting burnt. When getting your tongs, the 12-inch or 16-inch is the best choice.

A stiff-bristle grill brush: This assists in cleaning your grill and removing burnt meat from the previous barbeque. As a result, a fresh grilling session begins without any paintings.

Two Spatula: Use of two spatulae ensures that a perfect job is done. A fish spatula is for dealing with delicate meat, and the sturdy turner is for heavy-duty stuff.

An instant-read thermometer: Overcooked meat or dry chicken is now a thing of the past when you use a thermometer that reads temperature instantly.

Keep The Grill Clean

Maintaining a clean grill grate elongates the life span of your grill and improves efficiency in cooking your meat. Flavors of other foods from previous barbecues are eliminated, and they won’t contaminate your food. Before your grilling session, thoroughly clean your grill. Proceed to light your charcoals, or turn on your burners in the case of a gas griller.
