1. Water And Baking Soda

In case the grease dries up, just use 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 1 cup of water and use the solution to scrub away the grease stains using a sponge. With baking soda being an alkali, it dissolves grease easily while inflicting no damage to the surface that’s being cleaned.

2. Dish Soap

Soaps, in general, help in removing grease stains, but Dish Soaps are more effective. If there is a grease spill on your shirt, tablecloth, or soft surface, just use a little amount of the dish soap directly on the linen in question. After it soaks for at least 30 minutes, wash it with cold water.

3. Flour

In case of a grease spill, the first aid for the problem will be using flour before the grease dries up. Flour on the wet grease will do wonders as the mess can be cleaned with just a simple wipe after allowing the flour to absorb the grease for a few minutes.

4. Vinegar

For stains in the oven or on the stove, sprinkle white vinegar directly and let it stay for around 5 minutes before using a soft sponge to clean the surface.

5. Salt And Rubbing alcohol

For items that can’t be put in the washing machine, mix 4 parts of rubbing alcohol with 1 part of salt and scrub the mixture hard on the stain till the desired result is achieved.
